About Glennon Simmons

I'm interested in all forms of photography and visual expression, but I strongly prefer the outdoors to a studio. Exploring remote places has fueled my passion for photography, initially as a tool to share my adventures, later as a creative outlet independent of the wilderness. Creativity, exploration and self-reliance are inspirational concepts that appeal to me very much.

I have worked in the niche of outdoors sports as both an event photographer and photojournalist, and the bulk of my recent work has been photographing cycling and adventure races. My goal is to work as a freelance or staff photographer for a magazine focused on outdoors sports.
